I recently purchased a Biostar M7NCG to build my first SFF system. Mine is a MB double sided module.
Though it sounded ridiculous at that time, I had reasons to beleive that "theory". It was a single sided module and was running at MHz, Down the drain again! Biostar M7NCG 400 even WinXP won't install!
During the file copy, setup halts with a STOP: It also seems that my system vendor is clueless about this "particular" "issue"! Somebody gimme a gun!
KingJeremy Jul 25,9: Biostar may respond with the fact that this is not explicitly aimed at those who wish to push their components to the Biostar M7NCG 400. Higher speeds necessitate better, cleaner voltage supplies. Biostar uses a 3-phase PWM on this model.
That's in keeping with most other manufacturers. The hefty aluminium heatsink cools the North Bridge.
Noise, or lack of it, may play a part in a potential mATX buyer's decision. Biostar, thankfully, goes with a passive model. On Biostar M7NCG 400 other, though, it's only rated to support dual-channel DDR memory.
That's especially true with the GPU-bound onboard graphics. The M7NCG was adequate on the features' count, but we feel as Biostar M7NCG 400 Biostar needs to address the documentation that it ships with.

It's a good board, but it had the potential to be a whole lot better. Whereas performance excelled, the feature count could do with a makeover. It's only then that Biostar M7NCG 400 S motherboard platform can truly flourish.
That, though, doesn't look all that plausible with a single-chip bridge.
